Satyaprem, better known as Sattu (Kartik Aaryan), is one of those idiots with good hearts who falls in love with Katha (Kiara Advani), a woman who is much beyond his social status. She enters his life to provide him with a way to “follow the society-set template” for living. Sattu didn’t anticipate having to deal with her significant emotional baggage so early in the relationship.
Suddenly, Katha marries Sattu only as a result of her father’s emotional blackmail. In Sattu, the ‘desi’ lover believes he can fix her and wants to stay with her despite being ejected from his bedroom every single night. The central theme of the narrative is that if the right love doesn’t make up for all the bad things in your life, then it isn’t the right one.

Kartik Aaryan gives a sincere performance as the dimwitted Sattu with a kind heart. He greatly contributes to the character’s relatability to all the introverts in love out there by his inherent innocence. He excels at dramatic scenes and never drops a beat while acting out the drama.
The winner is Kiara Advani! Despite all the problems with the script, she quickly seizes the chance and uses it to her advantage. She enters Katha, maintaining a blank expression for the majority of the movie and still keeping you intrigued till the very end. This entire movie is a Kiara Advani production!
